LOCATION: Taiwan; spanning from Taipei to Hua Lien to Kao Hsiung to Tai Nan to Tai Chung and back to Taipei

PEOPLE: My mother and aunts and the rest of the tour group, 34 people

OBSERVATIONS:
[01] Travelling at night is so much better than an early flight. Waking up at 4 am is just inhumane. And probably bad for the body. Lack of sleep equals to not working brain
[02] Three women make a market. A whole busload of women makes a gladiator arena seem like a mime.
[03] Travelling on winding roads do make me carsick. But only a bit.
[04] There will be paranoid people and paranoid people.
[05] Teenagers don't go out alone. They're always in pairs or more.
[06] Traffic is chaotic. But there is a semblance of order in their chaos.
[07] Taxi drivers are talkative. Just like all taxi drivers of every country are rumored to be.
[08] Tour guides have quite a tough job actually. I wouldn't want to be one.
[09] Tap water is seriously NOT drinkable. Nope, not even when you boil it.

Frankly, I believe that a 7 days trip is seriously not even as Taiwan is very large (52 times bigger than Singapore) and a lot of time is spent travelling from one place to another. So mostly, it's just like touch and go.

We didn't really visit much places though we did go to a lot of temples. Taiwan is apparently noted for its many gods and ghosts. Our tour guide has a whole luggage full of these strange spiritual encounters and she shares them very freely.
