Went all the way to Braddell today... one of my mother's friend just came back from the hospital after a major operation. I've known her for quite long, almost all my life, and she's a really nice person, so cheerful and so vibrant. So it really quite sad to see her looking pale and tired, and way thinner than before. Before she was quite plump, and had a loud jovial voice. Now, she seemed to have dropped at least 10 kg and could hardly speak any louder than needed.

Due to some illness or something, she had to remove her womb and because she had a allergic cough, the wound hurt every time she coughed or sneezed. Even laughing was painful; I could see it when she laughed softly and had to clutch at her stomach, pained.

And it's really quite worrisome because she's currently living on her own as her son's in Australia studying, and her husband's in Myanmar working. All she has is her sister-in-law who would come every afternoon bringing her lunch and accompanying her until evening before she has to leave to take care of her own home.

Blessed be. Even though she's Christian and probably wouldn't believe in the Goddess and God, more blessings wouldn't hurt anyone...
